because hey, suffering is ALWAYS relative. Still, I think it bears some thinking about. Especially the statistic about "other religions"...

Which is why I give what I can to that which I can support. My work makes it easy with little donations from every paycheck to your charities of choice. In my case, that's Planned Parenthood, the Rape Crisis Center, Outreach (an LGBT support center), and Doctors Without Frontiers. Plus a yearly holiday donation (in the name of family members) to Oxfam.

I'd be interested to know what groups other people think are worthy of support...
